This type of campaign is intended for companies seeking to create image campaigns (as opposed to campaigns advertising a specific product or service). Therefore, the associated cost follows a CPM model instead of the CPC one used by Adwords.

World and City Maps does not accept adult sites, warez, racism or other websites that may be involved with illegal activity. We reserve the right to refuse any site. If you have any doubts about your banner please do not hesitate to contact us!
We will gladly display banners for search engines, travel sites, hotel booking, car rental, cruise sites, banner exchanges and our competitors as well.
As soon as your payment is received your campaign begins.
We estimate it should take 1-2 days for us to delivery 5,000 impressions for your banner, although delivery my vary depending on the number of banners in rotation, included areas (full world, or separate countries) & site traffic.
Remember, there are high and low seasons in travel industrie, that can also influence your banner impressions.

Advertise through Google Adwords
Due to the high volume of advertising requests on World and City Maps, and in order to offer our potential clients a flexible and reliable system, we have decided to exclusively use Google Adwords for managing the advertising on our websites. Google Adwords allows advanced targeting (geographically and content-based), reduces costs and is very manageable in terms of investment.
We have created several suggestively named advertisement channels (placements) for each World and City Maps pages.
Log in to your AdWords account.
Click on Create a new campaign: placement-targeted. See the image below for an example:
Name your campaign and ad group. You can also geographically target your advertising campaign by country or even by city, depending on the options you selected in the previous step. See the image below for an example:
Here is an example for filling in the fields in the “Create an ad” form. You may add several ads into an ad group. Apart from text ads, you can create image and video ad campaigns.
In the “Targeting your ad: select sites” screen, select “List URL” and type “World and City Maps.com” in the box.
Press “Get available sites” to get the channels list for *. World and City Maps.com, along with short descriptions. Select the channels on which you wish to display your ad by clicking on the “Add” button for each of them. Placements marked with “ATF” are positioned above-the-fold in the web pages they appear on.
